Commissioning of machines, presentation of management and employee training

comcross croatia officially launched the operation of its first Rittal machines for in-house electrical cabinet production. Following months of preparation and investment in space, equipment, and production processes, the company has initiated mechanical processing of cabinet components - marking a significant step towards fully self-sustained and high-quality cabinet manufacturing. The new machinery enables greater control over quality and delivery timelines, increased flexibility in production, and long-term savings through internal resource optimization. In the coming weeks, additional production capabilities are expected to be added, along with continued training for employees involved in the manufacturing process.
Training for working on machines

Also, an associate from the company Nabla Slavonia gave the employees of comcross an education on the use of a desktop and portable printer for printing a tile, which made an introduction to detailed training for working on other machines. Namely, the training of employees to work on new machines and new software systems was soon carried out, with the implementation of certification in the field of information security and safety at work. Finally, after the implementation of the most modern software system for digitization, optimization and management of production and business processes, the employees developed all the necessary knowledge and skills for work in Industry 4.0, since they participated in the preparation, elaboration and development of procedures related to working with the newly purchased equipment.

Accessibility, equality and sustainable development

In addition to equipping the production plant, comcross – Production Plant project also contributes to the development of comcross croatia employees, so internal education on accessibility for people with disabilities, climate challenges, and gender equality and discrimination was organized. Some of the topics covered are raising awareness of prejudices and positive measures that seek to eliminate gender stereotypes, getting acquainted with institutional mechanisms for gender equality in the Republic of Croatia, and promoting equality through the development of gender awareness policy.

The employees did the theoretical and practical part of the training, and after analyzing examples, experiential learning and discussing various topics, they learned all about the concept of sustainable development and potential ways of solving economic, social and environmental challenges. The topics that were opened were educational measures of energy management, water and waste management, responsible production and consumption, and contribution to sustainable development at the national and global level.
